Keyvision Pty Ltd was founded by Mark Davis who is also the founder and Managing Director of the multi-award winning residential design and building company, the Stonehenge Group, now 25 years old.

Mark’s initial research into password-protected, safe, web-based intranets was as a result of his desire to provide his building clients with complete and comprehensive digital manuals about their homes. The main objective being to facilitate simple and effective means by which clients could live in and maintain their homes. Mark was highly successful in his aim and now all Stonehenge clients enjoy the benefits of digital home manuals and new Stonehenge clients will soon be able to access these by interactive touch panels from within their homes.

In late 1997, Mark met Dennis Papalois, the CEO of an Atlanta-based software company, Resident Interactive, at an Exhibition / Trade show in the USA and a strong connection between the parties grew as a consequence. Resident Interactive was (and still is) at the forefront of developing feature-rich, specialised Community Intranet software.

A strategic business alliance between the two companies was formed with an agreement to work co-operatively to deploy the software into Australia. The software has continued to be developed and enhanced over the past 11 years and is highly regarded internationally as the software of choice for its reliability, customisable applications and user friendly interfaces.

In 1997, Stonehenge designed and built an award winning, integrated development of 51 homes in Williamstown, Victoria, called Williams Bay. The new residents became part of a pilot program in testing the effectiveness of the software with the primary objective being to build a strong and connected community. The success of the Williams Bay pilot was then expanded to become a community resource for all Williamstown residents.
